• Contractual Necessity: To provide the petpoints.net account services, pet profiling, and reward tracking (PP).
• Legitimate Interests: To maintain community security, moderate content, and prevent spam or abuse.
• Consent: When you voluntarily upload pet photos or post on public feeds.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To host your pet profiles and allow social interactions (posts, discussions, and direct messages).
• To track, display, and manage your Pet Points (PP) balance.
• To detect and prevent harassment, hate speech, or unwanted content.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You retain complete ownership and control over your personal data:

• Account & Data Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete your account and all associated profile data at any time directly through your Profile Settings.
• Upon account deletion, your personal profile, pet profiles, email, and photos will be permanently removed from our active database.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data to third parties or advertisers. We only use trusted infrastructure providers (such as hosting and database services) located within or compliant with EU data protection laws.

6. Your Rights under the GDPR

As a user residing in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

By creating an account, you agree to follow these rules:

1. Respect & Zero Tolerance for Hate

We hold a strict zero-tolerance policy for toxicity. You must treat all community members with kindness. The following are strictly forbidden:

• Any form of discrimination, hate speech, racism, or bigotry based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, orientation, religion, or background.
• Harassment, bullying, personal attacks, or aggressive behavior in public feeds, topic discussions, or private chats.

2. Unwanted & Inappropriate Content

To keep the network safe for everyone:

• No Explicit Content: Posting graphic violence, adult content, explicit material, or illegal content will result in an immediate account lock.
• No Animal Cruelty: Photos, videos, or discussions depicting or encouraging abuse, neglect, or harm toward animals are strictly illegal and prohibited.
• No Spam or Unwanted Advertising: Do not flood feeds or direct chats with unsolicited links, commercial promotion, or repetitive spam.

3. Pet Points (PP) & Fair Play

• Pet Points (PP) are earned through legitimate platform engagement and community participation.
• Attempts to exploit, game, script, or manipulate the Pet Points system using automated bots or fake accounts are prohibited.

4. Enforcement & Account Banning

We actively monitor and moderate flagged posts, topics, and account activities.

Warning: Violating these guidelines will result in an immediate and permanent ban of your account, forfeiture of all accumulated Pet Points (PP), and removal of your posts without prior warning.
