- Pet Data: Your pet's name, birthday/age, and photos you upload.
- User Content & Interactions: Posts you share, discussions in forum threads, direct messaging/chat logs, and earned Pet Points (PP).
2. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data under the following legal grounds:
- Contractual Necessity: To provide the petpoints.net account services, pet profiling, and reward tracking (PP).
- Legitimate Interests: To maintain community security, moderate content, and prevent spam or abuse.
- Consent: When you voluntarily upload pet photos or post on public feeds.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To host your pet profiles and allow social interactions (posts, discussions, and direct messages).
- To track, display, and manage your Pet Points (PP) balance.
- To detect and prevent harassment, hate speech, or unwanted content.
4. Data Retention & Account Deletion
You retain complete ownership and control over your personal data:
- Account & Data Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete your account and all associated profile data at any time directly through your Profile Settings.
- Upon account deletion, your personal profile, pet profiles, email, and photos will be permanently removed from our active database.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data to third parties or advertisers. We only use trusted infrastructure providers (such as hosting and database services) located within or compliant with EU data protection laws.
6. Your Rights under the GDPR
As a user residing in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

- Delete your profile and all related data (Right to Erasure).
